The ideal candidate will possess 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience. This role requires a detailed-oriented professional with expertise in CAD and CAM tools, specifically within the context of woodworking design and sheet metal design. Qualifications and Skills Proficiency in IMOS software is essential for creating detailed CAD and CAM designs for manufacturing (Mandatory skill). Strong CAD skills are necessary for producing accurate and comprehensive design schematics (Mandatory skill). Experience with CAM processes to optimize manufacturing efficiency and precision is required (Mandatory skill). In-depth knowledge of woodworking design to create functional and aesthetically pleasing products. Expertise in 3D modeling, allowing for the visualization of complex structures and assemblies. Capability in sheet metal design required to develop precise and production-ready designs. Ability to collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure design feasibility and effectiveness. Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to address design challenges. Roles and Responsibilities Create and modify CAD designs using IMOS software to meet the specific project requirements. Collaborate closely with production teams to align design modifications with manufacturing capabilities. Develop CAM strategies to enhance production efficiency and reduce material waste. Ensure all designs adhere to industry standards and project specifications. Perform regular quality checks to maintain high standards of accuracy and precision in designs. Work closely with clients to understand their vision and translate it into functional design plans. Maintain and update technical documentation for all design projects. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in CAD, CAM, and design technology.
