This is a highly visible role that interacts with many otherdepartments, including private funds, treasury, tax, and finance teams in other parts of the world: Maintain accurate books and records for all transactions involving the Canadian assetmanager; work closely with the treasury team to obtain and document properunderstanding for each transaction. Perform and review regular bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identifydiscrepancies. Perform and review intercompany reconciliations across business groups and regionalentities. Assist with quarterly reporting and the consolidated results of the asset managementoperations. Assist in preparation of various analyses and reports for senior management to support theirbusiness decision making. Calculate and compile private fund management fees. Maintain organized and well-documented policies and procedure documents. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy inbookkeeping and financial reporting.Qualifications & RequirementsMustHave: Chartered accountant with two five years of experience working in a corporate accounting oraudit firm, preferably in financial services or asset management. The ability to work in a dynamic, complex, fast-paced environment, adapt quickly to managechanging priorities and deadlines. Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) Very strong attention to detail Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines. Self-motivated, resourceful, and pro-active, with respect to both managing workload andprofessional development.Nice to Have: Experience in the following would be advantageous.o Dynamics 365o Complex legal structures
