In this role, you will be working with the latest versions of Ruby (3.3.1) and Rails (8.0.2), while also collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and user-centric solutions.This role is perfect for someone with 2–3 years of experience who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment, has strong backend expertise, and is also comfortable with front-end technologies.Key Responsibilities:-Develop, test, and maintain Ruby on Rails applications (Ruby 3.3.1, Rails 8.0.2).- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.- Implement testing frameworks (RSpec) for robust and reliable applications.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, product, and QA.- Work with REST APIs and tools like Postman for integration and testing.- Version control and collaboration using GitHub and GitLab.- Manage tasks and workflows using Jira.- Contribute to front-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Next.js, and React.- Participate in code reviews and improve development processes.-Stay up-to-date with new ROR features, trends, and best practices.Education Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.What You Bring:- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Ruby on Rails development.- Strong understanding of Ruby 3.3.1 and Rails 8.0.2.- Proficiency in RSpec, Postman, and API integration.- Experience working with GitHub/GitLab and agile tools like Jira.- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ability to work with Next.js and React.- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Bonus if you have:- Experience with performance optimization and scaling ROR applications.- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).Why Join Avinyaa EdTech?- Mission-led, purpose-driven culture.- A chance to work at the intersection of technology and social impact.- Opportunity to grow in a fast-paced and innovative environment
