At BigFix, our mission is to manage every endpoint, unifying Security Operations, and IT Operations for the world’s leading enterprises. We provide the industry’s leading endpoint management platform, spanning the broadest set of endpoints, aligning IT and Security with seamless automation and insightful reports.

At HCLSoftware we are seeking to hire a Cloud Engineer for the BigFix product line.

Role

HCL BigFix is looking for a Senior Software Engineer II to act as a Cloud Engineer who has good experience in Develop and maintain cloud-native applications for our product ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security

What You'll Do

In our team you will be responsible for:

  • Develop and maintain cloud-native applications for our product ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security
  • Liaising and working with Infrastructure,Development teams for troubleshooting and customer requests

Mandatory Skills

  • Expertise in at least one language – Python,Javascript, GoLang
  • Experience developing in at least one major cloud vendor – GCP or AWS or Azure
  • Proficiency in at least some CI/CD related tools -Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar
  • Prior exposure to cloud networking concepts related to security and compliance
  • Understanding of microservice architecture and knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes
  • AWS Cognito or other IAM tools (LDAP, etc.) (Nice to have)
  • YAML, Json, and Swagger API (Nice to Have)

Educational Qualification/Prior Experience

  • Graduated with university degree in either Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics

disciplines.

  • At least 5-year demonstrated experience as Cloud developer in SW product companies or similar relevant experience
