About Rang DeRang De ( is a fintech startup that aims to revolutionise credit access for underserved communities by connecting individual lenders and borrowers together, cutting out the need for an intermediary, and offering highly customised and affordable loans than traditional lenders.
Having pioneered the model in India in 2008, Rang De's purpose built technology platform has proved to be game changing for providing timely access to credit for thousands of farmers and entrepreneurs. We recently pivoted into an NBFC-P2P and have a highly differentiated model from other peer-to-peer lending platforms.
We are a small team with big dreams and are looking for talented individuals to join our passionate, mission driven team. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic, start-up environment. An energetic, proactive and self-motivated professional would be ideal for the role.
Responsibilities:This role is for a VP, Investments & Partnerships, which involves maximising inflows for the company, developing new partnerships whilst maintaining and growing the level of support received from existing stakeholders.Develop a robust business development strategy in collaboration with the leadership team, targeting private and institutional investment opportunities.Generate leads from Corporate and HNI sectors, showcasing ability to add value through ongoing stakeholder support.Identify, map and actively prospect with new Corporates for Corporate Employee Engagement Program.Conceptualise, shape and implement a comprehensive and purpose-driven fund-raising strategy to engage corporates, and foster long-term sustainable relationships.Build relationships with HNIs, Financial Advisers, Wealth Planners and Private Asset Management firms, conducting meetings and creating a pipeline of investment on Rang De platform.Drive the creation and execution of business plans aligned with Rang De’s overarching business strategy and missionTo be cognisant of potential business opportunities within the sector.Maintain relationships with existing and potential investors, keeping them informed about our activities and performance.
Qualifications and Requirements:10+ years of sales experience in financial services, preferably in intermediary sales or a related field.MBA/PGDM with specialisation in business development or finance is preferred.Demonstrated business acumen with exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.Strong understanding of financial markets with a genuine interest in driving social change.Proficiency in qualitative analysis and numerical aptitude, coupled with meticulous attention to detail.Ability to thrive independently and collaborate effectively as part of a team.Strong work ethic with the ability to work on multiple projects/tasks simultaneouslyExcellent knowledge of LinkedIn tools and MS Office
