Job Title: Assistant Manager – Learning & Development
To support the training needs of FAI in realizing a common mission in planning, delivering, and monitoring comprehensive staff training and development plan.
The Professional Skills Facilitator / Instructor will be responsible for the design and delivery of Professional development courses for all employees at various levels, curate the content from available eLearning Platforms, and develop the content on need basis.
Need Assessment and Alignment
Conduct Learning Need Assessment for Business units on periodic basis to understand the training requirements in Professional Skills space
Discuss the professional skills improvements areas across various role with the Business leadership teams to identify the learning opportunities
Content Design
Design instructionally sound training programs incorporating principles of the ADDIE Model and Gagne’s Nine Events.
Create training content incorporating the Adult Learning Principles, and that appeals to learners with varied Learning Styles
Formulates learning objectives; plans, designs, and develops methods for the assessment and evaluation of training effectiveness
Analyze and apply trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional design
Develop instruction material for ILT, VILT and Blended Programs and Journeys
Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process
Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role-plays, games, etc)
Devise modes of assessment, such as tests or quizzes, to measure the effectiveness of the course
Maintain project documentation and course folders
Learning Program/Training Delivery & Program Management
Delivery of professional learning courses from org aligned curriculums for all employees
Collaborates with Professional Development team on design and development of learning programs as needed
Ensure quality of training delivery. Gathers learner feedback and provides feedback to trainers and facilitators.
Gathers and reviews feedback and identifies opportunities for expansion and improvement of training quality.
Curate or Map eLearning courses relevant to the role-based competencies.
Actively promote the use of self-paced learning content from LinkedIn Learning
Identify suitable learning partners/vendors for program design and delivery as needed. Program Manage external and Internal learning journeys in collaboration with the L&D Ops team.
Program level reporting in the form of Leaderboards & Learning Effectiveness for program closure.
Communication
Design, Develop, and Deploy Communications templates on L&D services and offerings through a variety of communication channels including newsletters, emails, presentations etc. to ensure employees are aware of learning and development activities and resources.
Requisite Skills
Knowledge and experience in conducting Learning needs identification and analysis,
Conceptualize, Design, develop and deliver soft skills training/facilitation/teaching/presentation skills on topics such as Communication, Leadership, Presentation, cross cultural training in a global Multinational organization.
Possesses knowledge of training methodologies, Instructional design, Coaching,
Knowledge of Psychometric assessments/ certifications
Familiar with use of digital tools for delivery of virtual training.
MS Office proficiency: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Qualification
Postgraduate or Degree/Diploma in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or equivalent
Certification in Instructional Design and Facilitation skills
At least 5 Years relevant experience
Preferred Competencies: Communication, Customer Focus, Problem Solving, Team- work and Adaptability, Result oriented, Initiative and Accountability
