Job Title: Engineering Product Director
We’re offering an exciting opportunity to join our team as Engineering Product Director.
Elife is A platform to book any type of ground transportation services globally, Group/event transportation, non-emergency medical transportation, Pet shipping and relocation, Wheelchair assistance, student transportation, Bilingual chauffeurs for non-English speakers.
Responsibilities
Strategic Product Vision: Develop and implement transformative product strategies that increase customer value and simplify the user experience, moving beyond incremental updates.
Agility in Execution: Overhaul our product culture to prioritize quick decision-making and risk-taking, with an expectation of fast improvements to our pace and velocity post-onboarding.
Coach & Develop Product Management: Onboard and identify opportunities for development within the product team, building talent density and driving overall performance, with the goal of developing a world-class product org that continuously improves our offerings
Vision to Execution: Translate long-term visions into actionable plans, adeptly adjusting communication styles to different audiences to build alignment and drive execution
Drive AI/ML into every fabric of our products
As a key member of the Technology and Product organization, contribute to the overall over development of the organization, process and employees
Enforce product management life cycle, from inception, user experience engineering, buy-in from stakeholders, user acceptance, product rollout and finally meeting and exceeding business objectives
Build and foster an environment of direct and honest feedback from both internal and external users, to ensure user experience and product quality meet the high standard of the company and exceed users’ expectation
Focus and drive toward the results and goals which are measurable business metrics
What we are looking for:
15+ years of experience
Demonstrated director level product leadership in big tech companies, ideally B2B and B2C focused sectors. Travel, transportation and marketplaces are a plus but not required.
Proven ability to drive rapid and significant (not 3%, not 30%, but 3x) revenue growth through product initiatives, ideally with experience in an environment of at least USD300M/yr.
Building and scaling remote and multi-culture product teams and collaborating with 100+ developers, all in agile development.
Attention to details on dashboards, prioritization, resource allocation, milestones and roadmaps, and processes. You never let details slip.
Strong record of fostering innovation and implementing significant changes that simplify user interactions and enhance product value.
Experience working closely with founders or in a startup environment, ideally translating visionary ideas into effective operational plans.
Strong track record of partnering with stakeholders through the company, from finance, Customer Support, or Supply and Demand.
Skilled in attracting, inspiring, and coaching top-tier talent, building collaborative and high-performing agile teams.
Capable of making bold, strategic decisions and effectively communicating these choices, even when they involve tough trade-offs.
High level of ambition and a demonstrated impatience with delays or unmet promises; thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Lead and challenge conventional thinking across all organizational levels to foster continuous improvement and innovation.
Drive large scale product development backed by strong technical background and experiences both startup and established business environment and know the difference between developing a feature vs developing a product and platform
