Overview: As the General Manager of Content and Operations at Alliance University Online, you will serve as a visionary leader guiding strategic direction and oversight for the university's content management and operational functions. Your role will be instrumental in driving success through your expertise in content development, operations management, and team leadership. We are seeking a dynamic individual with a demonstrated track record of achievement in these areas to lead our organization to new heights of excellence and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Content Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy aligned with the university's mission, vision, and strategic goals, encompassing educational content, promotional materials, and digital assets.

2. Content Development: Oversee the creation, curation, and management of high-quality educational content across multiple formats and platforms, ensuring alignment with curriculum standards and pedagogical best practices.

3. Operations Management: Lead the operational functions of the university, including facilities management, resource allocation, budget planning, procurement, and vendor management, to support efficient and effective operations.

4. Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing team of content creators, instructional designers, operations managers, and support staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

5. Strategic Partnerships: Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships and collaborations with external organizations, content providers, technology vendors, and industry leaders to enhance the university's content offerings and operational capabilities.

6. Technology Integration: Drive the integration of technology solutions, including learning management systems (LMS), content authoring tools, and data analytics platforms, to support content delivery, assessment, and analysis.

7. Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality assurance processes and standards for content development, operations, and service delivery, ensuring excellence in all aspects of university operations.

8. Performance Monitoring: Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of content initiatives and operational processes, driving continuous improvement and innovation.

9. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and institutional policies and procedures related to content management, operations, and data privacy.10. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including faculty, staff, students, administrators, alumni, and community partners, to gather feedback, address needs, and enhance the overall student experience.

Qualifications:

1. Master’s degree or equivalent in Education, Business Administration, or related field; Doctorate preferred.2. Minimum of 20 years of progressive leadership experience in content management, operations management, or related field, preferably in higher education or a related industry.3. Experience in EdTech or online education sector is highly preferred.4. Demonstrated expertise in content strategy development, curriculum design, instructional design, and educational technology integration.5. Proven track record of leading and managing complex operations, teams, and projects, with a focus on innovation, efficiency, and excellence.6. Strong financial acumen and experience in budget planning, resource allocation, and financial management.7. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.8. Strategic thinking and problem-solving ability, with a results-oriented mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.9. Visionary leadership style, with the ability to inspire and empower teams to achieve ambitious goals and drive organizational success.
