Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer with expertise in Selenium with Java to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure software quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
  • Maintain and enhance existing automation frameworks.
  • Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA team to understand test requirements.
  • Track, document, and report defects and inconsistencies in a detailed and timely manner.
  • Ensure comprehensive test coverage and high-quality releases.
  • Analyze test results and identify areas for improvement in the testing process.
  • Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing sessions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • (3-7) years of experience in test automation using cypress and playwright.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver (Java/Python/C#).
  • Solid understanding of automation frameworks (TestNG, JUnit, NUnit, etc.).
  • Experience with tools like Maven, Jenkins, Git, and Jira.
  • Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with REST API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured.
  • Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber is a plus.
  • Experience with REST API testing using tools like Postman or Rest Assured.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
  • Good exposure to cypress and playwright with 3+ years of experience .
  • Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
  • Exposure to containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • ISTQB or other testing certifications are a plus.
