Description

We are seeking an experienced ETL / Datastage Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing efficient extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes using IBM Datastage. The successful candidate will have a strong background in data integration and a deep understanding of ETL concepts and methodologies.As an ETL / Datastage Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements and develop solutions to meet business needs. You will participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to testing and implementation. You will work with large volumes of data, ensuring data quality and integrity while optimizing performance and scalability.Responsibilities

Design and develop ETL processes using IBM Datastage to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses and data martsCollaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather data requirements and translate them into technical designsPerform data profiling and analysis to ensure data accuracy and integrityOptimize ETL processes for performance and scalabilityDevelop and maintain documentation of ETL processes and data mappingsImplement data validation and data quality checks to ensure data accuracyTroubleshoot and resolve ETL job failures and performance issuesMonitor and maintain ETL jobs and processes to ensure data availability and integrityRequirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related fieldMinimum of (X) years of experience in ETL development using IBM DatastageStrong understanding of ETL concepts and methodologiesProficiency in SQL and relational databasesExperience with data profiling and data quality managementSolid knowledge of data warehouse design principles and best practicesFamiliarity with dimensional modeling conceptsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentExperience with data integration tools and technologies is a plusKnowledge of big data technologies is a plus(Any additional requirements specific to your company or industry)
