Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant with 1 year of experience to support our finance team. The ideal candidate should have a foundational understanding of accounting principles and hands-on experience with financial recordkeeping, reconciliations, and basic reporting. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow within the accounting field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Prepare and post journal entries in accounting systems
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Maintain general ledger accounts and perform account analysis
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with internal departments for accurate data and reporting
- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1 year of relevant accounting experience (internships or full-time)
- Knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP or local standards)
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
Preferred Skills (Optional):
- Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance
- Basic understanding of payroll processing
- Ability to analyze financial data and reports
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹10, ₹15,000.00 per month
