As the Buyer Marketing you will be part of the Procurement function and reporting to SH- Indirect Procurement.
The purpose of your role is:
-Managing Procurement to Payment of Marketing, Media & Events
-Purchasing Area – development of sourcing strategy, Supplier’s Selection, RFQ, query resolution.
-Comparative formation, PO creation, follow up, payment follow up and statuary forms
-Business process re-engineering and IT automation – identification of projects and implementation – examples: vendor rationalization, product standardization, SOP formulation, system generated RFQ/comparative.
-To identify LEAP projects for cost savings
-Team management with sub-ordinates (buyers) – comparative check, PO initiation and work load balancing

A purpose driven role for you

Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
-Managing P2P activities of assigned categories
-Releasing schedules and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely closure of projects
-Ensure driving LEAP Savings from the consolidated list of ideas / projects through the year

A Day in the life

-Coordination with various stakeholders – Needs are different
-Negotiations with low APV vendors – control is less
-Delivery of items as per commitment dates – complex & challenging environment, Catering of un-planned requirement.
-Cost saving & alternate source development

Academic Qualification & Experience

-Graduate & MBA (preferred) with core specialization in Marketing, Events Management
-6 to 10 Years of experience in Marketing

Technical Skills/Knowledge

-Know-how of the Marketing Terminology, Event Management & Execution
-Agency Coordination & Commercial Closure for Annual Contracts
-Expertise in Media Buying & Planning
-Relevant knowledge of Market Research & BTL activations
-SAP MM Module transactions
