Role and responsibilities:

- Create visually appealing and user-centered interfaces for web and mobile applications.

- Collaborate consistently on the design system, identifying all design components and their possible scalability. Work closely to write the design documentation for the system.

- Design responsive layouts that work across different devices and screen sizes.

- Collaborate on Developing high fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using industry-standard tools. Figma Preferred

- Collaborate and learn on creating intuitive navigation and information architecture that enhances the user experience.

- Collaborate with developers to implement and refine designs, ensuring pixel-perfect execution.

- Work closely with Senior Designers, Product Managers, and Developers to understand project requirements and design goals, then translate them into effective design solutions.

- Iterate on designs based on feedback from users, stakeholders, and team members.

- Keep up-to-date with the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies.

- Experiment with new tools and methods to improve the design process and output.

- Creating branding collateral such as presentations, pitch decks, and marketing materials is bonus


Key Skill sets and Knowledge

- Strong understanding of elements of design & Fundamentals such as typography, color theory, UI trends, grid systems, and composition.

- Ability to balance aesthetics with functionality, ensuring designs are both form and functional.

- Expertise in design tools like Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator and other common design tools practiced across design industry

- Experience with vector design, creating icons, UI elements,  lottie animation and SVG animation

- Ability to translate user feedback into actionable design improvements

- Knowledge of interaction design principles and how to create interactive prototypes is a plus point

- Experience with animations and micro-interactions that enhance user engagement

- Understanding of web standards, accessibility, and responsive design.

- Ability to approach design challenges with a problem-solving mindset

- Critical thinking to evaluate design solutions and make informed decisions that align with user needs and business goals.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and visual, to articulate design ideas clearly.

- Ability to work collaboratively with senior designer and manage multiple projects simultaneously

- A keen eye for design that balances consistency while adhering to industry standards.

- Believe in making complex things with a simple and minimal approach.


Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, UI/UX Design or related field.

- Proven 1+ years experience as a UI/UX Designer.

- Skilled in UI designing for Web applications, mobile apps is a bonus.

- Basic understanding of UX and Graphic Design

- Familiarity with user testing methodologies

- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.

- Experience working under the mentorship of a Senior Designer

- Familiarity with agile methodologies and working in a fast-paced environment
