Position Overview - We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Admission Counselor to join our central team at The Academic City School, Bangalore. The ideal candidate will be the primary contact for prospective students and their families, guiding them through the admissions process with clarity and warmth with the aim of admission conversion. This role is crucial in representing our school’s values and ensuring a smooth transition for new students.
Job Description
Academic Counselor - Central Team
1. Responsible for attending to calls and leads that enquire about the school
2. Provide engaging information about various offerings of the school with an aim of converting the lead to a personal visit to campus and further to admission
3. Keep up good relationship with parents, attend to their queries in a timely fashion, address their concerns with the aim of converting the lead to admission
4. Own the admission process by organizing and coordinating and guiding the parent and student through various process of admission that includes application, entrance test, interviews, multiple campus visit, career counseling, orientation and on-boarding.
5. Constantly co-ordinate with campus team for smooth flow of information
6. Work on data calling to generate potential leads
7. Understand and work on CRM software to keep all lead information updated
8. Be available on call beyond working hours and on offs to support the team when required
9. Assist in marketing activities when required
Qualification, back ground & skill set requirement
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• proven experience in admission in the field of education. Should have experience working with targets
• Functional knowledge of Microsoft office tools and CRM software
• Strong communication skills. Ability to provide information and engage in conversation persuasively
• Willingness to extend working hours during peak admission season
• Willingness to work in a fast paced target driven environment, must be a go getter with fire in belly and hunger to learn and grow
• Weekend work is mandatory and crucial to this role
• Resident of south Bangalore preferred
Additional preference given to
• Knowledge of the Indian and international education systems is an advantage.
• Polyglot who can speak multiple Indian languages
