Position Summary

The PowerApps Architect will oversee the development and deployment of Power Platform solutions, with a focus on PowerApps, Dataverse, Canvas, Power Pages, Model-Driven App and Power Automate, within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This role requires a highly experienced professional with over a decade of leadership in technology, including hands-on expertise in Power Platform and Azure Cloud. The successful candidate will manage a large team of developers, ensure the quality and timeliness of project deliverables, and collaborate closely with project managers and leadership to meet aggressive project schedules. This role entails close collaboration with Executive leadership, technical experts, and business development associates across multiple time zones from Hawai’i to North Carolina.

Essential Job Functions

  • Configuring COE toolkit and in dept understanding of Power Platform Analytics.
  • Lead and mentor a team of 20+ developers in the design, development, and deployment of Power Platform solutions.
  • Oversee the implementation and optimization of PowerApps and Azure Cloud solutions.
  • Provide daily updates to Project Managers (PM) and leadership regarding project status, resource planning, and delivery.
  • Conduct "what-if" analysis on resource planning and work allocation to ensure effective project execution.
  • Manage scrum teams and facilitate agile project methodologies.
  • Troubleshoot code and address technical issues as needed, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Challenge developers and development leads on estimates, code quality, and project timelines.
  • Develop solutions to address missed schedules and code quality concerns.
  • Manage deployment pipelines, configuration issues, and application security.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and leadership.
  • Take ownership of release delivery and adhere to strict timelines.
  • Other duties assigned within scope of business.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Extensive experience with Power Platform and Azure Cloud technologies.
  • Ability to provide clear and concise updates to PM and leadership.
  • Proficient in resource planning, work allocation, and troubleshooting code.
  • Experience with agile project methodologies and managing diverse teams across different time zones.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
