It is a priority for us to provide a rich and nurturing environment where everybody in the team can contribute and grow their skills and knowledge.Responsibilities And TasksYou will be responsible for working as part of a team validating the firmware being developed for a cutting edge storage controller design. You will interact with the architecture, hardware, firmware, and firmware test teams located in multiple geographies to gain a full understanding of the firmware design.You will use your understanding of the firmware design to define test plans and to develop automated test scripts utilizing industry standard and internally developed test tools and platforms. You will oversee the execution of the automated tests run as part of a firmware continuous integration environment using software simulation and an FPGA platform. You will triage failures, file bug reports, and help the development teams with isolating issues.Experience / Skills
In depth knowledge and extensive experience with embedded
firmware development
and validationExpertise in the use of scripting languages, programming tools and environmentsExtensive programming experience in
PythonExperience in the storage industry in SSD, HDD, storage systems, or a related technologyUnderstanding of storage interfaces including ideally PCIe/NVMe, SATA, or SASExperience with NAND flash and other non-volatile storageWorking experience on I2C, SPI and SMBUS protocols is desirableGood to have knowledge on JenkinsAbility to work independently with a minimum of day-to-day supervisionAbility to work in a cross functional team and under the pressure of multiple prioritiesExperience with leading or supervising junior engineers and technicians is a plus
Education & Experience
:Position requires minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
