Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced
Senior Backend Engineer
with a strong foundation in
Golang
,
microservices architecture
, and
cloud-native development on AWS
. This role involves building highly scalable, reliable, and secure backend systems that power enterprise-grade applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end services, APIs, and microservices.
  • Ensure
    full unit test coverage
    and participate actively in test-driven development.
  • Build secure and performant backend systems to support complex business workflows.
  • Optimize existing code for
    performance, reliability, and maintainability
    .
  • Collaborate closely with
    US-based cross-functional teams
    to understand requirements and deliver enterprise solutions.
  • Participate in
    code reviews, design discussions
    , and contribute to continuous process improvement.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and maintain
    high availability
    systems.
  • Follow and promote best practices in
    code quality, testing, deployment
    , and documentation.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years
    of professional experience in software engineering within a
    live production
    environment.
  • 3+ years
    hands-on experience developing software using
    Golang
    .
  • 3+ years
    building
    microservices architecture on AWS
    (ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, etc.).
  • 2+ years
    working with
    NoSQL
    databases such as
    MongoDB, Redis, Couchbase
    .
  • Strong experience with
    relational databases
    like
    PostgreSQL
    .
  • Experience with back-end technologies and
    API frameworks
    including
    GraphQL and REST
    .
  • Solid knowledge of
    web protocols, system integrations, and security practices
    .
  • Demonstrated ability to build
    scalable, low-latency, and high-availability
    systems.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with containerization tools like
    Docker
    and orchestration platforms like
    Kubernetes
    .
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
