The ideal candidate will have expertise in 3D modeling software tailored to jewellery design, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for transforming concepts into manufacturable prototypes. This role involves collaborating with our artisans, sales team, and clients to produce innovative and feasible designs. Rendering and Procreate are additionally beneficial.Key Responsibilities: Create detailed 3D CAD models for jewellery pieces, including rings, necklaces, earrings, and custom orders using software like Rhino, Matrix, JewelCAD, or similar. Collaborate with the design and production teams to iterate on concepts, incorporating feedback and ensuring designs meet quality and cost standards. Stay updated on industry trends, new software tools, and materials to enhance design efficiency and creativity. Prepare renderings and visualizations for client presentations and marketing materials.Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Jewellery Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of experience in CAD design, preferably in the jewellery or fashion industry. Proficiency in jewellery-specific CAD software (e.g., Rhino with Grasshopper, Matrix, or ZBrush). Strong understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes, gemology, and materials like precious metals and stones. Excellent attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Portfolio showcasing previous jewellery designs and CAD work is required.
