Job Description: Azure +Networking
Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer with strong experience in network configuration, troubleshooting, and security, specifically focused on FortiGate firewall systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing FortiGate firewalls along with general network infrastructure knowledge.
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of Azure networking services such as VNets, Load Balancers, Application Gateway, ExpressRoute, and VPN Gateway.
Hands-on experience with network security components like Azure Firewall, NSGs, and DDoS Protection.
Proficiency in hybrid cloud setups, including VPNs and private connectivity solutions.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
Experience with Azure Virtual WAN and SD-WAN integration.
Knowledge of Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and container networking.
Certifications:
Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate (preferred).
Additional Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator) are a plus.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
3+ years of experience in Azure networking and cloud architecture.
Previous experience in a cloud-first or hybrid cloud environment is preferred
.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Certifications such as Fortinet NSE, CCNA, or equivalent.
3+ years of experience in network engineering with FortiGate expertise.
