Objective: As a Senior LAMP Developer, you will be responsible for writing server-side web application logic. You will develop back-end components, connect the application with other web services, and support the front-end developers by integrating their work with the application. As a Senior LAMP Developer at Rage, you’ll get to: Contribute to the software development lifecycle. Build innovative, state-of-the-art applications and collaborate with the User Experience team. Lead the entire web application development life cycle right from concept stage to deliver and post launch support. Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimisation and functionality. Define and rollout development standards and documentation. Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development. Ideally, you should have: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with 3-5 years of hands on experience in L(A/N)MP and at least 3 years in PHP development with frameworks like Laravel/ Codeigniter. Sound knowledge of Object Oriented Development (OOD) and associated Object Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts. Hands on experience in programming languages for developing dynamic Web Applications. An understanding of open source projects like Joomla, Drupal, Wikis, osCommerce, etc. Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, Javascript, Ajax, etc. Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and of developing web services. Experience in common third-party API’s (Google, Facebook, etc). Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas.
