Role Technical Architect Experience: 5 to 6 years Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Architect – Java Backend to lead the design and development of robust, scalable, and high-performance backend systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java-based application architecture, microservices, cloud deployments, and strong leadership skills to guide engineering teams in delivering enterprise-grade solutions. Key Responsibilities: Lead the architecture, design, and development of Java backend systems primarily using the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security). Define technical standards, best practices, and frameworks for backend development. Design microservices, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native applications. Collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure smooth solution delivery. Conduct code reviews, mentor developers, and provide technical guidance. Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance architecture and system performance. Ensure system scalability, maintainability, and security according to best practices. Key Competencies/Skill sets Strong expertise in Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security) . Experience in microservices architecture, REST APIs, and cloud deployments (AWS/Azure/GCP) . Proficiency with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.). Knowledge of design patterns, system design, algorithms, and data structures . Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and DevOps practices. Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and event-driven architecture. Exposure to performance tuning, caching, and distributed systems . Knowledge of API security, OAuth, and JWT . Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. Preferred Education and Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or IT Engineering, or related field. 7+ years of experience in Java backend development, with at least 3 years in an architecture/lead role.
