Position Overview :


The PeopleSoft Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing PeopleSoft applications and solutions.

This role requires a deep understanding of PeopleSoft modules, strong programming skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain PeopleSoft applications and customisations, including Application Engine, PeopleCode, Component Interfaces, and Integration Broker.

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions.

- Develop and implement PeopleSoft reports, queries, and interfaces to support business operations.

- Perform unit testing and assist with system testing and debugging to ensure application functionality and performance.

- Collaborate with functional teams to understand business processes and identify opportunities for system enhancements.

- Troubleshoot and resolve PeopleSoft application issues, including performance optimisation and bug fixes.

- Maintain documentation for system configurations, customisations, and processes.

- Ensure compliance with data security and privacy policies.

- Stay updated with the latest PeopleSoft technologies and industry trends to provide recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 4+ years of experience in PeopleSoft development, including hands-on experience with PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interface, and Integration Broker.

- Proficiency in SQL and PeopleSoft Query.

- Strong understanding of PeopleSoft architecture and modules, such as HCM, Finance, or Campus Solutions.

- Experience with PeopleSoft Fluid and Classic User Interfaces.

- Proven ability to analyse complex business processes and translate them into technical solutions.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Experience with PeopleSoft upgrades and patching is a plus.

- Familiarity with tools like Application Designer, Data Mover, and SQR is desirable.
