RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL:
The BI Analyst will identify automation opportunities, assist in making business decisions and drive business process improvements by analyzing business data.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
The BI Analyst will be responsible for designing holistic business intelligence, data engineering and analytic solutions, tools, and products. This person will be a leader and critical thinker in their space bringing knowledge of Automation, analytics, Advance Excel, Power BI and best practices.
As a BI Analyst on the team, you will be on the forefront of solutioning, hands-on data discovery, automation opportunities and unifying analytics across the organization. In this role you are expected to be involved throughout the life cycle of a solution and engage with other teams, departments, and stakeholders.
Communicate with front desk managers, sales leaders, engineers, and other stakeholders across APAC countries to collect business information.
- Create detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions to improve CoE operational efficiency and effectiveness by identification of automation opportunities
- Create and maintain reports and dashboards required for business performance and KPI tracking.
- Create and publish MIS reports.
- Create forms and formats required to maintain operational data.
- Elicit business requirements from Subject Matter Experts using interviews, document analysis and user story workshops.
- Understand data standards and identify data abnormalities. Instill data quality in all solutions delivered.
- Design and develop tools that bring process automation for effort reduction and analytical methods for better business decision making.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s / master’s degree in commerce, Marketing, Sales, Business Management or Engineering
- Masters/ PG Diploma in Business Analytics
- Min 6-8 years’ experience as Data Analytics preferably in sales or marketing
- Excellent skills in tools like MS Excel, VBA Macro, Advance Excel etc.
- Good knowledge about Microsoft analytics Stack (SQL Server, SSAS Tabular, Power BI, Power Query, DAX, SQL and T-SQL) etc
