Overview :


We are actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Database Developer to join our dynamic team. If you have 5-9 years of expertise in database development, strong SQL skills, proficiency in SSIS, and hands-on experience in performance tuning and data modeling, we invite you to apply. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing database solutions, with a particular focus on DB migration projects.


Responsibilities :


- Database Development : Design, develop, and maintain efficient and scalable database solutions. Write complex SQL queries and stored procedures to support application requirements.


- SSIS Integration : Utilize SSIS for ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, ensuring smooth data integration across systems. Develop, schedule, and monitor SSIS packages to automate data workflows.


- Performance Tuning : Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and other tuning techniques. Analyze and troubleshoot performance issues, ensuring optimal system responsiveness.


- Data Modeling : Create and maintain data models to represent business requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data model alignment with application needs.


- DB Migration Projects : Lead or actively participate in database migration projects, ensuring seamless transitions. Perform data validation and verification during migration processes.


- UNIX and Shell Scripting : Possess basic UNIX knowledge with proficiency in shell scripting. Automate routine tasks and processes using shell scripts.


- Code Reviews and Documentation : Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices. Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for database solutions.


Requirements :


- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.


- 5-9 years of hands-on experience in database development.


- Strong proficiency in SQL, including complex queries and stored procedures.


- Expertise in SSIS for ETL processes.


- Performance tuning skills with the ability to optimize database performance.


- Solid data modeling experience.


- Experience in database migration projects.


- Basic UNIX knowledge with shell scripting skills.


Preferred Skills :


- Familiarity with other database technologies (e.g., NoSQL databases).


- Knowledge of cloud-based database solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).


- Understanding of data warehousing concepts.


- Exposure to Agile development methodologies.


- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.


- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
