Position: Production Manager - New Unit

About Us:

As we embark on the exciting journey of establishing a new production unit focused on wind turbine maintenance and major component replacement, we’re looking for a talented Production Manager to lead the charge

Key Responsibilities:

  • Material Expertise: Ensure thorough understanding of ferrous and non-ferrous material grades and specifications for optimal material selection.
  • Fabrication Supervision: Oversee fabrication processes for mild steel and stainless steel, applying metallurgy expertise to enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Engineering Drawings: Review and interpret engineering drawings to ensure compliance and precision.
  • Production and Process Planning: Develop and implement effective production plans to boost operational efficiency and meet project timelines.
  • Machining and Fabrication Techniques: Drive initiatives to improve machining, turning, and structural fabrication methods, ensuring safety and quality standards.
  • Galvanizing Processes: Manage galvanizing processes for fabricated components, ensuring durability and corrosion resistance.
  • Environmental Control Systems: Monitor environmental control systems, ensuring regulatory compliance and promoting sustainability.
  • Report Generation: Create detailed production reports, analyzing metrics and presenting findings to senior management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Material Science and Engineering.

⏳10+ years of experience in production management, particularly in materials engineering and fabrication processes.

Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.

Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
