Role Description :

Whizlabs is a dynamic and innovative technology company based in Coimbatore, committed to delivering cutting-edge solutions.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead with over 8 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, proven leadership abilities, and a passion for driving high-quality software development.

As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the development team, guiding architectural decisions, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable web applications using Node.js and React.js.

- Oversee the technical direction and implementation of new features, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers and product managers, to define and deliver software solutions.

- Mentor and guide junior developers, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.

- Write efficient, maintainable, and high-performing server-side logic using Node.js.

- Develop user interfaces with a focus on usability and seamless user experience using React.js.

- Design and optimize database schemas and queries to ensure maximum performance and scalability.

- Integrate third-party APIs and services into applications to extend functionality.

- Develop and maintain robust RESTful APIs for front-end and third-party integration.

- Conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

- Identify and resolve complex technical issues during the development lifecycle.

- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to knowledge-sharing within the team.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the development process and ensure high-quality software delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- 8+ years of hands-on experience in full stack development, with a strong focus on Node.js and React.js.

- Proven experience in leading technical teams and managing complex projects.

- Strong knowledge of web technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

- Expertise in database systems such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.

- Extensive experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs.

- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

- Ability to drive technical discussions and make architectural decisions.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Desired Skills (Optional) :

- Experience with Agile methodologies and leading scrum teams.

- Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Strong understanding of software security principles and practices.

- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
