Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled CA PPM Consultant to join our team. As a CA PPM Consultant, you will be responsible for the development, configuration, and optimization of our Clarity PPM platform. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in various aspects of CA PPM, including Studio customization, portlet development, workflow design, and advanced scripting.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain custom objects and attributes in CA PPM Studio.

- Configure views and links to optimize user experience within the CA PPM environment.

- Develop and configure portlets to display relevant data and enhance user productivity.

- Design and implement workflow processes to streamline project management and resource allocation.

- Utilize advanced GEL scripting techniques to automate tasks and improve system efficiency.

- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions for data manipulation and performance tuning.

- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the CA PPM data model and its implications on system design and development.

- Utilize CA PPM's XML Open Gateway (XOG) for data migration, import, and export operations.

- Ensure adherence to CA PPM's security model and implement appropriate access controls.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate CA PPM with other systems and interfaces.

- Stay updated on the latest CA PPM features and functionalities and provide recommendations for system enhancements.

- Installation, upgrade, and maintenance of CA PPM platform, including applying hotfixes and patches.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Proven experience working with CA PPM, including customization and development.

- Strong proficiency in CA PPM Studio for custom object/attribute creation and configuration.

- Experience in portlet development and configuration within the CA PPM environment.

- Proficiency in workflow design and implementation.

- Advanced skills in GEL scripting for automation and customization.

- Extensive experience with SQL development, including stored procedures, triggers, functions, and performance tuning.

- In-depth understanding of the CA PPM data model and its implications on system design.

- Experience with CA PPM's XML Open Gateway (XOG) for data migration and integration.

- Familiarity with CA PPM's security model and access control mechanisms.

- Experience in integrating CA PPM with other systems and interfaces.

- CAPPM Professional Certification is a plus.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
