Job Description & Summary :

We are looking for a passionate Practice Leader, Salesforce to join our growing team in Canada. The role will suit a go getter strategic thinker in Salesforce, MuleSoft, Tableau, Slack platform space with deep technical expertise, extraordinary customer. Delivery management skill and ability to drive practice growth through business development. You will have expert level technical architecture design skills, ability to lead a team of consultants, strong presales capabilities and willingness to be "hands-on".

The Practice lead is responsible for the overall performance of the service delivery organization of Salesforce platform practice. The role is highly collaborative, working with customers, internal technical team members, presales team, sales team and local Salesforce teams as well.

Responsibilities :

1. Technical Leadership (30%) :


- The Practice Leaders embody the growth mindset - they thrive on challenge, learn from setbacks, and build on the ideas and inspiration of others.


- This person will exemplify a strong orchestration capability and fantastic and dealing with complexity/ ambiguity in the realm of current project delivery and also creating winning value propositions for new deals.


- Mentorship of team and ability to see project challenges before they occur is a key ingredient for successful project delivery from time, cost and schedule perspective.


- The person should be able to articulate complex technical situations in easy-to-understand communication to all stakeholders and play a role of proactive problem solver.


- Building Center of Excellence mindset, advising customers and team on new roadmap /features is an integral part of role.-

2. Business Ownership(20%) :


- The Practice Leaders are accountable for the overall performance of their teams.


- They play a critical role in aligning ThoughtStorm's Go to market and delivery strategy with customer expectations and ensuring high quality engagements.-


- This includes developing long term customer relationships, growing revenue, and establishing the necessary planning to drive growth and profitability within your practice, accelerate the adoption of advanced support models and solutions, and promoting new areas of engagement.

3. Practice Management(30%) :


- The Practice Leaders must be exceptional at building great teams, capability of practice, stewarding new solutions and building diverse and inclusive engagement lead teams.


- Practice leader has to bring deep understanding of situational leadership and know how to coach team members and stakeholders to get best out of each person.


- Their management style is to approach their team with empathy and humility and to model strong teamwork and collaboration.


- Practice leaders execute impeccably at all the basics and ensure that they create a culture of management excellence across their global teams.


4. Capacity planning (20%) :


- Maintain an accurate view of planned capacity and future demand (sales pipeline) to maintain appropriate capacity for forecast demand


- People management including hiring, performance management and termination Capability management


- Technical readiness, Training, Professional Development, Recruitment, best practices, evangelism


- Quality management - define/adopt and promote relevant standards, frameworks etc. to ensure consistency and high quality in client outcomes and delivery processes.

Qualifications :

- Must have a proven record of delivering 10-20 the full life cycle of services of Salesforce projects (strategy, consulting, project delivery and support) from pre-sales through delivery in high growth organizations.

- Deep understanding of delivery methodologies, architecture, and tools.

- History of leading technical team with strong people management skills.

- Candidates must have a deep understanding of Canada and US markets customers and desirable knowledge in Salesforce/Mulesoft/Tableau/Slack platform


- Have the background to provide leadership in the practice and demonstrate effectiveness in consulting and client management.

- Background in solving large and complex customer issues successfully by collaborating with senior leaders (customer and internal stakeholders).

- Experience of Canada Public Sector, BFSI (Banking and Financial Services) and Healthcare verticals.

- Ability to install and configure products for demo and project purposes.

- Deep expertise and understanding and demonstrated hands-on experience on Salesforce Public Sector (License & Permit management, Inspection Mgt, Grants Mgt, Emergency Program management), Field service, Sales modules, Einstein AI, Community portal, Mulesoft, Tableau, Slack and integrations across platform.

- Hands-on experience in Apex, Rest API, SOAP Services, admins and base setup/configuration, billing, user security, data quality, lightening, portal and other related areas.

- Prefer to have a person with Trailblazer badge(s).

- Engineering or other technical discipline (BE, BTech, MCA).

- Relevant Salesforce certifications completed with updates.
