, a leading manufacturer in the tyre industry, is seeking an experienced
Assistant Manager- Production Planning and Control (PPC) from Tyre Industry only.

The candidate, will oversee and optimize the production processes within our tire manufacturing unit. Leveraging his extensive experience in the industry, he will be responsible for ensuring efficient production planning, scheduling, and control to meet production targets while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement production plans and schedules to optimize resource utilization and meet production targets in line with demand forecasts and inventory levels.
  2. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, logistics, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of production activities.
  3. Utilize advanced production planning tools and techniques to analyze production data, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and productivity.
  4. Monitor and track production performance metrics, including yield, cycle times, downtime, and throughput, to identify opportunities for improvement and drive continuous process optimization.
  5. Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production planning and control processes, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  6. Drive initiatives for inventory optimization, including raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods, to minimize inventory holding costs while ensuring product availability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in production planning and control roles in the tire manufacturing industry only.
  • Proven track record of successful production planning and scheduling, preferably in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
