Head Search Engine Optimization

What is the role?

We are looking for a senior SEO practitioner to manage the growth of organic acquisition

vertical. As a Head, you will own SEO campaigns from start to finish along with the technical backlog.

You’ll leverage your expertise in SEO, ad tech, analytics & project management while partnering cross-functionality with IT, creative and content teams to deliver best-in-class SEO campaigns.

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and executing an SEO strategy that aligns with

the company and business goals. This includes researching and analyzing keywords, optimizing content, building links, and improving the overall search engine visibility of the company & website on the app store.

Key responsibilities

A) Developing and implementing SEO strategies: across geographies and prepare the company's growth plan.

- Drive organic search traffic by conducting site audits, keyword research, content

optimization, and competitor analysis.

- Create the SEO roadmap, identifying growth opportunities, and working with product

development and other teams to prioritize opportunities and drive execution.

- Define and evaluate overall SEO content strategy

- Lead event implementations on marketing platforms including Facebook, Google Analytics

and Google Tag Manager.

B) Create, improve and build processes / methodologies to ensure SEO is incorporated in web

content development process, paid search, social and PR with:

- Hands on experience on SEO tools like SEMRush, AHREF, Google Analytics, Google My

Business, Google Tag Manager

- Expertise of Core Web Vitals, Page loading speed, troubleshooting other technical SEO

issues.

- Design and implement a link building strategy for various websites across different

geographies.

- Identify and improve website crawling and indexing, page speed, user experience, and

mobile-friendliness.

- Good technical understanding of website usability, server logs, structured data, XML

sitemaps, website performance and content management.

C) Monitoring and reporting on SEO & ASO performance to provide regular reports on key metrics

such as search engine rankings, organic traffic, and conversions. Also, YouTube SEO. Oversee the

measurement and tracking of site rank factors, keywords, internal and external links, and site

content while setting measurable goals that can demonstrate improvement in organic traffic.

D) Collaborating with other teams such as content and development, to ensure that SEO best

practices are being implemented throughout the company's website.

- You will also need to coordinate with the brand & social team to ensure that all marketing

efforts are aligned with the company's SEO strategy.

E) Managing relationships with external vendors such as SEO agencies or freelancers, to execute

on certain aspects of the company's SEO strategy.

- You will need to manage these relationships and ensure that the work being done is in line

with the company's goals and objectives

F) Conducting competitive analysis to identify areas of opportunity and areas where the company

may be falling behind in terms of SEO. Keeping up-to-date with SEO trends and best practices

for thought leadership

What are we looking for?

 8-10 years of experience in SEO

 Hands on experience on SEO tools like SEMRush, AHREF, Google Analytics, Google My

Business, Google Tag Manager

 Ability to prioritize all the tasks and initiatives with focus on execution, strong bias for action

 Excellent verbal and written communication skills: Ability to have deep empathy for users

and to adapt how you communicate to best reach and engage your audience

 Demonstrated strength in strategic thinking/market analysis /competitive analysis.

 Comfortable writing and editing content for ad copies, landing page snippets, descriptions,

etc.

Note: Handling Multilingual & Multiregional SEO with BFSI industry experience is a plus.
