Accounts Receivable SpecialistJob Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist (6-Month Contract with Potential Conversion to Full-Time)Position Type: 6 months direct contract. Based on performance, this role has the potential to be converted into a full-time position.Experience:- 8-10 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or general accounting.- Experience working with ERP or accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, Quick Books, or similar).- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software tools.Key Responsibilities- Generate and issue accurate customer invoices in a timely manner based on sales orders, contracts, or service agreements.- Record payments received (checks, ACH, wire transfers, credit cards, etc.) and reconcile them against customer accounts.- Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and proactively follow up on overdue balances to ensure timely collections.- Communicate with customers regarding billing discrepancies, payment inquiries, and account reconciliations professionally and courteously.- Maintain accurate and organized customer records, payment histories, and supporting documentation.- Perform monthly account reconciliations to ensure data integrity and resolve variances.- Collaborate with the sales, customer service, and operations teams to resolve billing or payment issues.- Assist in preparing AR-related journal entries, adjustments, and reports during month-end close.- Support external and internal audits by providing required AR documentation and explanations.- Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives within the AR function.- Cash Application- Credit ApplicationQualificationsEducation:- B.
