Purpose of the Job
Execute the Electrical maintenance activities and handle shift operations independently.
Key Accountabilities
The operation engineer is part of the electrical team in the plant maintenance department. He will be
independently responsible for the flawless operation of the Electrical Systems within the plant during
shift. He must be a strong team player. Ensuring maximum uptime of Electrical Power systems and
maximum productivity. He will be required to be vigilant for flawless operations and maintenance of
various plant sections like- Fibreglass winders, Batch & Furnaces, Utilities, Cake ovens, Chemical
preparation, Roving, CSM, Type-30 & Fabric areas. He needs to monitor the same in
emergencies like Power outages.
Key Responsibilities
The Operation Engineer (Electrical) will be required to have hands-on experience in handling Electrical
Breakdowns, Troubleshooting, Preventive and Predictive maintenance activities of…
220KV, 11KV substations,
Power Control Center (Unitized Substation), Motor Control Center, Control and Automation Panels.
Transformers, HT/LT Motors, Generators, Thyristor control Devises.
Utilities HV Equipment- Air compressors, Chillers,
Variable Frequency Drive control equipment, Programming, parameterisation, DOL Starters
Knowledge of Instrumentation Systems and Electrical Projects will be an added advantage.
DELIVERABLES
Quick response to breakdowns, and quick troubleshooting skills.
Downtime analysis, Identifying root cause, corrective, and preventive actions.
Equipment monitoring and maintaining the highest uptime.
SAP, PM and MM modules will be an added advantage
Operation and maintenance in Continuous process plant.
TPM, ISO, SAP, Safety, IE rule, CEA Regulation
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education
Any Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering with a PWD Supervisory License.
Experience
Minimum 5 years.
