Azure AD Specialist

About Position: We are seeking a skilled and proactive Active Directory & Entra ID Administrator to join our IT infrastructure team. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our identity and access management systems across both on-premises and cloud environments. You will be responsible for managing and optimizing Active Directory (AD) and Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory), implementing robust authentication protocols, and automating administrative tasks using PowerShell. Role: Azure AD Specialist Location: Bangalore Experience: 8+ Years Job Type: Full Time Employment What You'll Do: Administer and maintain Active Directory environments, including user/group management, GPOs, and replication. Implement and support authentication protocols such as Kerberos, NTLM, and modern cloud-based methods. Strengthening AD and Entra ID security through access controls, auditing, and policy enforcement. Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation of AD and Entra ID tasks. Integrate directory services with other enterprise systems and applications. Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies for both AD and Entra ID. Monitor and optimize directory performance, ensuring high availability and scalability. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to identity, access, and directory services. Administer Entra ID, including user provisioning, application integration, and conditional access policies. Expertise You'll Bring: Proven experience in Active Directory administration in enterprise environments. Strong understanding of authentication protocols and identity federation. Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting. Knowledge of directory services integration with cloud and on-prem systems. Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery best practices for identity systems. Experience managing and securing Entra ID / Azure AD environments. Ability to troubleshoot complex identity and access issues across hybrid environments. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
