Remarkable people, trusted by clients to design and advance the world.  Wood India Consulting division is currently recruiting for a Senior Engineer - Subsea Pipeline to join the team focusing on subsea projects within our Technical Consulting Division.  This position is based in Chennai and because success in the role will require in-person contact with the team, remote work is not an option. The Role   A Senior Engineer - Subsea Systems will interact with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, construction, and quality assurance, to ensure smooth project execution. Also collaborating with structural engineers and offshore installation teams to ensure seamless integration of subsea pipelines with other offshore infrastructure will be the other responsibility to look for.  Our Clients and Projects  Designing the future. Expected: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field  Extensive experience in pipeline engineering, with a focus on offshore oil and gas projects  Strong knowledge of subsea pipeline design codes, industry standards (., API, ISO), and regulatory requirements  Proficiency in pipeline design software and tools (., Abaqus, AutoPIPE, OrcaFlex, Caesar II)  Sound understanding of subsea construction and installation techniques, including trenching, pipelay, and riser systems  Familiarity with subsea inspection, repair, and maintenance (IRM) activities  Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities  Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams  undefined
