Intro and job overview:  

As a Senior Software Engineer II, you will be part of the team that designs and develops cloud applications in the Verify domain. You will be deeply involved in designing, developing, and unit testing the applications in our next-generation Data Integrity Suite platform. You will work closely with software engineers, and product managers to develop and deploy data-driven solutions that deliver business value. You will contribute to the best practices, standards, and technical roadmap.

Responsibilities and Duties:  

As a Senior Software Engineer II, you will play a pivotal role in the development and enhancement of our software products. Your responsibilities will include: 

End-to-end technical ownership of product features Participate/ own technical designs, participate in discussions, constructively suggest, and receive ideas & feedback for solutions. Contributing to development of the codebase, focusing on key functionalities of the application.  Collaborating with technical staff to troubleshoot software issues independently, incorporating suggestions for enhancements and improvements.  Engaging in the design phase of applications, ensuring robust and scalable architectures.  Conducting code reviews and assisting in refining engineering processes while contributing to the development of software user manuals.  Improving code quality and addressing Non-Functional Requirements such as performance, security, scalability, and reliability.  Collaborating with team members to address internal and external customer issues promptly and effectively.

Requirements and Qualifications:

8+ years of experience in the software industry with a proven track record in product development.  Bachelor's degree (BE/BTech/MCA or equivalent) in Computer Science or a related technical field from a reputable institution. Proficiency in Design Patterns and Architectural Patterns with practical application experience. Expertise in Java for backend development; familiarity with frontend scripting languages such as Node.js and React.js is a plus. Solid understanding and experience with databases, particularly Mongo Atlas, and developing/consuming REST APIs. Exposure to cloud-native technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, and microservices architecture is highly desirable. Basic understanding of agile and scrum methodologies is a must. Experience of AWS/Azure/GCP, Redis, Security Domain, Datadog, Code fresh, hands on Terraform will be advantageous.
