Job Title: Senior Manual Tester – Insurance DomainLocation: Noida (Hybrid)Experience: 5+ yearsAbout the RoleWe’re looking for a Senior Manual Tester with a strong background in the insurance domain and hands-on experience in API testing, Postman, and Datadog. The ideal candidate brings a developer mindset, understands business workflows, and ensures high-quality product delivery through meticulous testing and attention to detail.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and execute manual test cases for insurance-related applications.Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across multiple systems.Conduct API testing using Postman to validate request/response structures, payloads, and error handling.Use Datadog for monitoring application performance, logs, and issue tracking.Collaborate closely with developers, BAs, and product owners to understand business requirements and edge cases.Participate in defect triage meetings, track issues, and ensure timely resolution.Contribute to test documentation — including test plans, cases, and reports.Apply a developer mindset to identify potential root causes of issues proactively.Support UAT and production validation when needed.Must-Have Skills5+ years of experience in manual testingStrong understanding of insurance domain processes (policy, claims, underwriting, etc.)Hands-on experience with API testing tools like PostmanExposure to Datadog for monitoring and debuggingStrong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycleExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to work in an agile, fast-paced environmentGood-to-Have SkillsBasic knowledge of SQL queries for backend data validationExperience in automation or willingness to upskillFamiliarity with JIRA, Confluence, or similar toolsExposure to performance testing or security testing conceptsWhy Join Us?Opportunity to work on large-scale, real-world insurance productsCollaborative environment with cross-functional teamsGrowth-oriented culture that values skill enhancement and innovation
