Key Responsibilities: Shopify Store Development: Build, customize, and enhance Shopify stores based on client needs and specifications. Troubleshooting & Debugging: Identify and resolve Shopify store performance, theme customization, and app functionality issues. Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive and effective Shopify store implementations. Code Quality: Ensure code quality and best practices are followed in development to avoid issues with SEO, site performance, or user experience. Testing: Conduct regular testing, including user acceptance testing (UAT) and quality assurance (QA), to ensure a flawless end product. Stay Updated: Keep up with Shopify platform updates, industry trends, and best practices to ensure the most current and effective solutions are delivered. Languages: Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Liquid templating language (Shopify's proprietary language). Shopify Expertise: Familiarity with Shopify Plus and Shopify's ecosystem of apps and third-party integrations. Front-End Skills: Strong understanding of responsive design principles and front-end development frameworks. APIs & Integrations: Experience working with Shopify APIs, RESTful APIs, and third-party app integrations. Version Control: Proficient in using Git or other version control systems.
