FLUTTER 'S BUSINESS STRUCTURE INFORMATION

The Flutter Group is organized in two divisions: FanDuel for our businesses in North America; and Flutter International for our businesses across the rest of the world. Each division houses innovative brands that operate across geographic regions, offering market-leading products to our passionate customers.

FanDuel

FanDuel, Flutter's largest brand, leads the US sportsbook and online gaming market. Currently, FanDuel's sportsbook is available to customers in 23 US states.

Flutter International

Through our Flutter International division, we offer a diverse range of sports betting, gaming and casino products in regions across the world. The Flutter International division is organized into five distinct regions:

• UK & Ireland (UKI): In UKI, we offer sports betting and gaming products through our brands: Paddy Power, Betfair, Sky Betting & Gaming and tombola. In addition, our PokerStars, and Betfair International brands are managed within our UKI region.
• Southern Europe & Africa (SEA): Our SEA region is home to Italy's leading gaming operator, Sisal, which offers lottery, betting, online gaming, and gaming machines. Snai in Italy is set to join Flutter in 2025, subject to regulatory approvals. Additionally, PokerStars operates in this region.
• Asia-Pacific (APAC): In our APAC region we provide online sports betting products through our market-leading Sportsbet brand in Australia. Additionally, we offer rummy and online skill games in India through Junglee Games.
• Central & Eastern Europe (CEE): In our CEE region, MaxBet is a leading omni-channel sports betting and gaming operator in Serbia, while Adjarabet is Georgia's leading online operator with a strong presence in Armenia. Singular, a B2B iGaming software provider, operates in Malta, North Macedonia, and Georgia.
• Brazil: Flutter will establish a new Brazil region with the acquisition of the leading Brazilian operator, NSX Group and its brands including betnacional, pending regulatory clearance in 2025, alongside the existing Betfair Brazil business.

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE

We are seeking a seasoned data science leader to head our Data Science Squad at the Flutter India Hub in Hyderabad. This role is ideal for a professional with deep experience in model building, stakeholder engagement, and delivery leadership. The Head of Data Science Squad will lead a team working across Flutter's global brands, delivering impactful machine learning and predictive modeling solutions that power real-world business decisions.

KEY RESPOBSIBILITIES

• Lead and inspire a cross-functional Data Science Squad, ensuring high-quality delivery of end-to-end solutions across product, marketing, and operations domains.
• Set the long-term strategic vision for the Data Science squad, aligning with broader business goals of Flutter Functions and Brands that the team works with
• Display entrepreneurial traits by partnering with stakeholders to identify new AI/ML opportunities across the businesses, build the project pipeline, define business problems, and design data science solutions aligned to brand and flutter function priorities.
• Manage full model lifecycle—from data exploration and feature engineering to model training, validation, deployment, and performance monitoring.
• Role-model cross-functional leadership, partnering closely with Product, Tech, and Business counterparts
• Represent the Data Science squad in executive forums, contributing to center-wide governance, prioritization, and stakeholder engagement.
• Establish a culture of storytelling, impact, and continuous improvement across the team Mentor and grow team members while fostering a culture of experimentation and innovation

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE

• 10+ years of experience in the data space, including hands-on exposure to data science, model development, and stakeholder delivery.
• Demonstrated experience working on B2C-focused models such as customer segmentation, recommender systems, marketing attribution, churn prediction, or personalization.
• Deep understanding of ML techniques, their practical applications, and limitations. Strong experience with modern data science languages and tools, including: Languages: Python (preferred), SQL Libraries/Frameworks: scikit-learn, XGBoost, LightGBM, pandas, NumPy, PySpark Statistical foundation: Weights & Biases, A/B testing frameworks Platforms: Databricks, AWS (S3, SageMaker), GCP (BigQuery, Vertex AI) Visualization: Tableau, PowerBI STRATEGY & TRANSFORMATION Customer Applications Vendor Mgmt. & Delivery Data & Analytics Change Management Workforce Management
• Understanding of data engineering principles and experience working with large-scale structured and unstructured data is preferred.
• Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders through effective storytelling and excellent communication skills. Experience in driving alignment and delivering impact in matrixed or global organizations.
• Exposure to product-led or consumer technology companies is strongly preferred.
• Deep understanding of ML Techniques, their practical applications, and limitations"
