Senior Software Development Engineer In Test

candidate with experience in testing and automation framework, REST API/Java and cloud based applications to join our team in Bangalore Location.You will report to the Senior Manager, QA Engineering.Workplace type - HybridAs a SDET of the Informatica Connectivity team, you will be responsible for delivering the connectors with enterprise quality, technical initiatives and their implementation especially on the Automation front.Our TeamInformatica Connectivity team responsible for building the world class connectors to various third-party systems that will power all the Informatica Products be it Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services, Data Engineering Integration or Power Center. We work on the latest and greatest technology in the Cloud like (Azure, AWS, Google) and all other technologies.

Technology You'll Use

Core Java, Rest-based APIs Testing, Cloud-based applications (Snowflake/AWS/Azure/GCP), Automation framework.

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do

As a SDET Engineer you will be responsible for automation, functional verification/certification, tooling, continuous integration to ensure that the testing process progresses smoothly with a high degree of reliability.Design and develop test plans, test cases based upon functional and design specificationsParticipate actively in functional, system, integration and regression testing activitiesDesign, develop and maintain test programs including test tools and automated test suitesWorks on problems of diverse scope where requires evaluation of identifiable factors.Be viewed as the key "go to" person for the any technical troubleshoot of the product

What We'd Like to See

3 to 7 years of enterprise software quality experience with data-intensive and multi-threaded server-based cloud products.Strong academic background - BTech/MTech in Computer Science or equivalent course from top schools.Should have strong Experience in SQL and PL/SQLHands-on programming/scripting languages such as JavaScript/Python.Automation experience with Selenium, TestNG, REST APIExperiencePrior experience in any DWH/ETL products a strong plus.Expertise on the Dockers / Containers / Kubernetes and Jenkins .Strong experience in atleast one of the New age DW technologies Redshift, Snowflake, Databrick, GCP, Azure.Comprehensive understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies, procedures, and QA documentation.
