Overview :

We are looking for an experienced SAP CATS (Cross-Application Time Sheet) Consultant with 6 to 8 years of experience to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring, implementing, and supporting the SAP CATS module to meet business requirements related to time tracking, project accounting, and resource management.

This role requires deep expertise in SAP CATS functionality, integration with other SAP modules, and hands-on experience in SAP implementation projects.

Responsibilities :

SAP CATS Configuration :


- Configure SAP CATS module settings, including time entry screens, validation rules, default values, and approval workflows, to meet business requirements.

Integration :


- Integrate SAP CATS with other SAP modules, such as SAP HR (Human Resources), SAP PS (Project System), SAP CO (Controlling), and SAP PM (Plant Maintenance), to ensure seamless data flow and consistency across the enterprise.

Customization :


- Customize SAP CATS functionality as needed to accommodate unique business processes and requirements.

- Develop and implement enhancements using SAP ABAP programming and SAP enhancement techniques.

User Training and Support :


- Provide end-user training and support for SAP CATS functionality, including time entry, approval processes, reporting, and troubleshooting.

- Create training materials and documentation as needed.

System Testing :


-Plan and execute system testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to validate the functionality and performance of SAP CATS solutions.

Data Migration :


- Assist in data migration activities related to time tracking, project accounting, and resource management.

- Ensure data integrity and accuracy during data conversion and migration processes.

Issue Resolution :


- Investigate and resolve issues reported by end users related to SAP CATS functionality, data discrepancies, system errors, and performance issues.

- Escalate complex issues to SAP support as needed.

Continuous Improvement :


- Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization of SAP CATS functionality.

- Propose and implement enhancements to streamline time tracking processes and improve user experience.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.

- 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP CATS module configuration, customization, and support.

- Proficiency in SAP CATS functionality, including time entry, approval workflows, integration with other SAP modules, and reporting.

- Strong understanding of SAP ABAP programming and SAP enhancement techniques for customizing SAP CATS solutions.

- Experience with SAP implementation projects, including system configuration, testing, and data migration.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with business users, technical teams, and project stakeholders.

- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- SAP certification(s) in SAP CATS or related SAP modules is preferred.
