Description

Viavi is seeking ADF Developer experienced in Oracle ADF and Java. This person should have expertise in Oracle ADF 12 version along with necessary Java skills.

Responsibilities :

Design solutions based upon business requirements and user specification  Prepare technical solutions as well as review technical solutions Deploy and support ADF web applications. Ensure delivery of quality solutions Incorporate best practices, design patterns/principles, and web standards into all aspects of applications and support. Work with 3rd party teams for project delivery Interface at an intermediate level with Business System Analysts and other the Business Engagement Teams during the design, development and testing processes Guide/coach other team members in delivering the solution Work with on-site team in completing the day to day development activities Provide production support as and when required Provide knowledge transition to other team members on need basis Strive to be up-to-date in best practices, development methods and technologies Document code consistently throughout the development and/or enhancement process Maintain extensive documentation for all projects with relevant Viavi resources

Requirements :

4-6 years of experience in designing, developing, implementing web applications using Oracle ADF. Should have strong expertise in PL/SQL, JAVA and analytical skills. Proficient in ADF and Java. Must have a strong past development background in Java and related technology frameworks. Good exposure to consuming data through different interfaces (Web API's REST/ RESTFUL/ JSON/ XML/SOAP). Should have experience in implementing View layer concepts such as taskflows, fragments, JSF pages, java beans and data bound components. Basic Knowledge of AngularJS. Detailed understanding of MVC architecture w.r.t Oracle ADF Experience in working with databases (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.). Candidate should be able to work independently and take ownership of work. Very good Logical skills and Problem solving ability. Quick Learner and a good team player. Experience in agile development methodologies will be plus. Excellent Communications Skill. Should be a creative individual. Should have experience in working with Oracle Support (Metalink) Understanding of all key ITIL processes is a plus Ability to clearly communicate with team members on issues, status and design ideas throughout the project Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate business challenges and determine final business requirements specifications, coding, testing, debugging and documenting software programs of varying complexity following the predefined standards and best practices
