You will oversee technical direction, drive architecture and design, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality features. The role involves hands-on coding, mentoring software engineers, collaborating with product and business teams, driving code reviews, and setting best practices for performance and quality.Expect real ownership, technical innovation, highly impactful work, and the opportunity to work shoulder-to-shoulder with industry leaders. Experience in a software product development company is a must.- Expert Java programmer with an in-depth understanding of advanced language features. Knowledge of Kotlin is required.- Deep understanding of MVVM architecture and UI design.- Capable of independently designing, implementing and delivering large features with high quality.- Proficiency with software design principles and setting coding standards.- Comfortable with creating tests for and debugging Android applications.- Experienced in coaching, motivating and mentoring junior team members.- Able to create good project plans, give realistic deadlines and meet them, communicate regularly (in English) and set clear expectations.
