About the Team -The Brand & Content team exists to translate business objectives into credible and memorable consumer-facing content. This team is a creative operations engine that plans, conceives and executes content & creative partnerships. The team’s mandate is to scale content to deliver business impact, in the form of incremental services delivered and increased brand consideration. Operating in a hyper-growth environment, the team’s collective personal goal is to crunch the next 4 years of career growth into the next 12 months.This role is seeking a creative social media marketing professional to join our Brand & Content Team. In this role, you will be responsible for Urban Company’s social media strategy across handles, driving follower growth and engagement across several platforms. The ideal candidate must have a love of all things trending across the internet, and a range of production experience in short-form video and social content. The ability to work collaboratively within a team and lead the ideation and briefing processes of content production is paramount.
What You’ll Do:Establish and manage the strategy, tone and content approach across Urban Company’s current and future social media handles, primarily on Instagram, YouTube & PinterestTranslate strategy to creative by creating & managing monthly calendars for each channelIdeate & produce digital and social content (including writing, pitching, scripting & creator partnerships)Handle day-to-day content publishing, deliverables and editsOversee community management: posting, engaging with followers, monitoring all channels and flagging comments/posts in real-timeEnsure consistent video content and quality, helping produce the best content possible within a set framework, budgets, and brand guidelinesContinually measure & optimize for key reach & engagement metrics and define ROI for social campaigns
What You’ll Need:3-5 years of experience managing social media channels at a brand(s) or agencyBonus if you have social experience with editorial and corporate brandsYou have a deep understanding of internet culture and latest trendsYou understand how to follow brand guidelines, and can help drive the appropriate tone and strategyYou can manage and deliver multiple projects concurrently, managing timelines and expectations from multiple workstreamsYou are a nimble copywriter and have sharp ideas for social formats and designs; bonus if you have design skills yourselfYou have exemplary interpersonal skills, relationship building and teamworkYou are an action-oriented self-starter with the ability to remain detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment
