What you will be doing at Evalueserve: About Corporate and Investment Banking & Investment Research (CIB & IR)  As a global leader in knowledge processes, research, and analytics, you’ll be working with a team that specializes in global market research, working with the top-rated investment research organizations, bulge bracket investment banks, and leading asset managers. We cater to 8 of the top 10 global banks, working alongside their product and sector teams, supporting them on deal origination, execution, valuation, and transaction advisory-related projects. What you will be doing at Evalueserve: Assessment of collateralincluding identification of assets being pledged, review of legal documents, such as title deeds and security agreements, to confirm that the borrower has clear ownership of the assets, assess physical condition and check for encumbrances. Review multiple valuation approaches depending on the asset type. Review appraiser's report, checking for consistency with the credit policy and ensuring all relevant factors—like residual life for older property. Periodic reviews of the collateral valuation to identify and address changes in value. Tracking lien status, insurance coverage, and tax payments to protect the bank's security interest. Recording and maintaining accurate collateral data in the bank's systems throughout the lending lifecycle. Leading collateral clean-up initiatives to meet regulatory and compliance standards. Reviewing and correcting data discrepancies across various collateral types, including real estate, working assets, machinery & equipment, securities & deposits, and contractual assignments. Managing loans from initial funding through to final payoff, including: Uploading and validating loan documentation, including borrower onboarding, KYC, and compliance checks. Administering escrow accounts by coordinating the collection and disbursement of funds for property taxes and insurance on behalf of borrowers. Performing reporting and reconciliation activities in accordance with state and federal regulations. Executing loan closure procedures, including the release of associated collateral or liens and issuance of termination documentation. Calculating financial covenants in accordance with facility agreements and providing well-reasoned explanations for covenant compliance or breaches. Supporting process improvement initiatives and contributing to operational excellence. Mentoring new analysts and participating in ad-hoc projects as needed. Handling Client calls and periodic communication What we’re looking for: •Strong Accounting and financial skills •Experience on lending platforms or credit search platforms like Credit lens, nCino, Lexis/Nexis, Experian would be preferable •Eye for details and ability to identify and solve issues effectively on time •Good MS Office Skills •Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills •Ability to ensure that tasks within areas of responsibility are completed in a timely manner •Ability to practice attentive and active listening skills •Ability to identify proactive ways to contribute to firms’ goals & mission • Challenging current thinking by implementing new ways of working •Bachelor's/Master’s degree with a major in finance, economics, accounting or from a reputed institute with 5-8 years’ experience in the similar profile Shift Timings •3PM IST to 12AM IST Disclaimer: The following job description serves as an informative reference for the tasks you may be required to perform.
