Going forward, we all are part of Quest Global Company. ---------------------------------------------- Job Description: Senior Data Engineer Location: Hyderabad Notice Period: Immediate-15 Days Company: People Tech Group Experience: 4+ years Employment Type: Full-time Purpose Lead and deliver scalable, secure, and compliant data engineering solutions. Drive data pipeline development and architecture, ensuring high performance and reliability across systems. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines for structured and unstructured data. Optimize data workflows for performance, cost, and quality. Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for data applications. Establish monitoring, alerting, and data quality checks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Scientists, Analysts, and Dev Ops. Mentor and support junior data engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing. Ensure solutions meet data governance and compliance standards. Required Skills Proficient in Apache Spark and distributed data processing. Strong programming skills in Python and/or Scala . Advanced SQL skills and experience with data modeling. Experience with orchestration tools like Apache Airflow , AWS Step Functions , or similar. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). CI/CD and version control tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Git Lab CI). Monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog). Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 4+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, building and managing large-scale data infrastructure. Proven track record of mentoring and leading technical initiatives.
