Come join us as we work hard, have Fun and make History Key job responsibilities- Deliver high-quality platform solutions supporting diverse customer and merchant use cases for Amazon Pay- Develop and enhance web-based applications and web services that enable third-party merchants to integrate Amazon Pay- Design and build large-scale, distributed systems to handle high-volume transactions in a 24/7 environment- Contribute to the architecture, design, and evolution of new and existing systems focusing on reliability, scalability, and performanceAbout the teamAmazonPay, one of the fastest growing businesses of Amazon, enables e-commerce websites to accept, and customers to utilise the payment information stored in their Amazon.com accounts to pay for goods and services at sites off-Amazon. AmazonPay also enables customers to manage their account preferences and see their off-Amazon transactions. Hundreds of thousands of Users make millions of transactions worldwide on AmazonPay. We develop software at every level of the stack from front-end user interfaces to backend server software and everything in between.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience- Experience programming with at least one software programming language- Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence- Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systemsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent- Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented designOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
