Designation: Quality Manager



Education: BE/Btech in Electronics /Mechanical



Experience: 8-10 years



Job location: Pune (Chakan)



Salary: 8 to 10LPA



Facility: Bus, Canteen (Free)



Industry Area: Automotive sensor manufacturing (South Korean MNC)




Responsibilities



  • Responsible for the Customer Quality, SQA & In Process Quality Functions
  • Close co-ordination with customers for the quality issues in Line & Warranty
  • On time response to customer quality concerns
  • Handling Quality Management System, IATF16949, ISO 9001:2015, CE Certification
  • APQP, PPAP quality monitoring & documents for newly developed & in Production parts
  • 8D, CAPA, PCA, SPC, MSA, KAIZEN, POKAYOKE
  • Supplier and Internal audits for improvements and also a certified Internal Auditor as per IATF
  • Developing and implementing key strategies for Supplier Improvement
  • Monitoring supplier quality performance
  • Initiating supplier improvement programs, reviewing improvement activities
  • Worst suppliers. Motivating supplier for implementation of Kaizen, driving zero defect projects, Lesson Learnt, Poka-yoke and so on
  • Organizing technical review meetings & contract review meeting, finalization of DVP and ensuring compliance
  • Conducting supplier capacity evaluation, Run Rate & risk assessment along with supplier training for 8D, APQP-PPAP requirements, 4M change
  • Managing team of SQA engineers for implementing improvement initiatives, 8D and ensuring smooth closure of the issue as encountered
  • Evaluating & rating supplier performance & focusing on poor performing suppliers for its performance improvement by planning periodic audits of supplier processes
  • Planning & execution of PPAP audits for purchased parts, preparation of joint improvement plans for identified gaps & collaborating with suppliers for development of new components
  • Root cause analysis of quality problems reported into purchased components, evaluating corrective & preventing actions & closure of Non-conformances effectively as per customer targeted timeline
  • Planning & monitoring of supplier quality performance by sampling inspection of purchased parts
  • Controlling & monitoring supplier Rejection & PPM
  • Monitoring product standards and implementing Quality Control Program to ensure high quality of product
  • Leading cross-functional teams providing quality guidance & support in the determination of appropriate non-conformance
  • Root cause analysis and implementation of Quality Management Systems and effective corrective actions
  • Preparing & maintaining necessary documents (QMS) to comply with Quality Management Systems and other statutory quality standards
  • Developing alternate vendor base to achieve quality objectives, cost reduction, increase revenues, streamline process workflow and enhance productivity innovatively for in-house and vendor’s parts
