About the company

Skyfall is disrupting the entire AI ecosystem by building the first world model for the enterprise. The goal of the ‘Enterprise world Model’ is to overcome the severe limitations of LLMs (Safety, Hallucinations, Expensive training) in order to provide the enterprises significant value by having a comprehensive understanding of the complex interplay between data, people and processes with organizations.

The Skyfall founding team consists of Maluuba founders who were previously pioneers in the Deep learning revolution. Maluuba worked with AI pioneers such as Yoshua Bengio and Richard Sutton before it was acquired by Microsoft for $160M and became Microsoft’s AI research center in Canada.

Job Overview:

Skyfall AI is looking for a Backend Integration Engineer to develop and maintain seamless integrations between our AI layer and enterprise systems like ServiceNow, Workday, Oracle, and SAP. In this role, you'll design scalable APIs, implement secure authentication mechanisms, and optimize data pipelines for real-time, high-volume processing. You’ll work with REST, GraphQL, and SOAP APIs, debug integration issues, and collaborate with AI, DevOps, and product teams to enhance automation.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, deploy, and maintain integrations between Skyfall’s AI layer and enterprise software like ServiceNow, ITSMI, JSM, BMC Remedy, Workday, Oracle, and SAP.Build scalable, high-performance APIs and connectors for data ingestion and bidirectional synchronization.Implement secure authentication mechanisms (OAuth, SAML, JWT, API keys) to access external systems.Work with REST, GraphQL, and SOAP APIs to extract and process structured and unstructured data.Ensure data normalization, transformation, and mapping between different enterprise software schemas.Optimize API performance for low-latency, high-volume enterprise workloads.Debug integration issues, monitor API health, and build resilient, fault-tolerant pipelines.Collaborate with AI, front-end, and DevOps teams to align integrations with product features.Minimum Requirements:

5+ years of experience in back-end development & integrations with enterprise software.Strong expertise in Python, Node.js, or Java for building API integrations.Hands-on experience with REST, SOAP, and GraphQL APIs.Deep understanding of enterprise ITSM, HR, and ERP systems like ServiceNow, Workday, Oracle, SAP, BMC Remedy, JSM.Experience working with OAuth, SAML, JWT, and API security best practices.Proficiency in database design and query optimization (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL like MongoDB).Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS).Strong knowledge of microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Nice to Have Requirements:

Prior experience integrating Flexera, Tanium, or other IT asset management software.Experience working with enterprise middleware (Mulesoft, Boomi, Apache Camel).Familiarity with ServiceNow APIs (Table, Import Set, Scripted APIs, MID Server, Webhooks).Exposure to AI-powered workflow automation.
