- Creating computer models of products and processes to test design concepts and simulate performance before they are built or used
- Using computer programs such as MathCAD, MATLAB, and ANSYS to build models that simulate real-life events and conditions
- Developing and implementing mathematical models to solve complex engineering problems
- Conducting research on new technologies and techniques to improve existing designs
- Communicating with engineers to discuss design details or implementation of models
- Analyzing complex data to identify risks, opportunities for improvement, and other trends
- Preparing reports and presentations on findings and recommendations
- A postgraduate degree (M.S. or higher) in CFD/Mechanical Engg/Aerospace Engg/Thermal Engineering/Energy
Engineering
- 0-2 years experience of the application of simulation techniques to product development in an industrial setting
- Familiarity with industry-application CFD software preferable (ANSYS/StarCCM/COMSOL etc.)
- Team-player with the capability to handle projects independently with little/no guidance
