This role is ideal for an individual with an Intermediate level Chartered Accountancy qualification who is ready to take on diverse responsibilities across accounting, taxation, and regulatory compliance for investment funds. The candidate will work closely with senior professionals to deliver accurate and timely GCRT services to our prestigious clientele.Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for a range of tasks, focusing on the core services Vishwaksena provides:1. Core Accounting & Reporting:Maintain accurate books of accounts for various client entities, including investment funds and their management companies.Handle day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Payroll processing, and bank reconciliations.Assist in the finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with relevant Indian Accounting Standards.2. Taxation & Compliance Support:Assist in the preparation and filing of TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) returns and ensure timely tax payments.Support the preparation of necessary data forGST (Goods and Services Tax)returns and compliance.Aid in the computation ofIncome Taxfor the funds and related entities.Assist inROC (Registrar of Companies)filings and secretarial compliance support.3. Audit & Statutory Support:Prepare detailed working papers and schedules to support statutory and internal audits.Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants to facilitate smooth and efficient audit completion.Assist in addressing queries related toSEBI (Securities and Exchange Board of India)regulations and documentation.4. Fund Operations Support:Provide support for investment-related accounting entries and tracking.Assist in documentation and reconciliation for Investor Relations.Qualifications & SkillsRequired QualificationIntermediate CA (IPCC/Intermediate) or EquivalentEducationCompletion of theIntermediate levelof the ICAI Chartered Accountancy course.ExperienceCandidates must have either completed theirArticleship Trainingor be in the advanced stage of their training.Technical SkillsTally ERPor other recognized accounting software proficiency is mandatory. Advanced proficiency inMS Excel(Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling basics) is essential.Knowledge BaseStrong theoretical and practical knowledge ofIndian Accounting Standards/Ind AS, Income Tax Act, and GST laws.Soft SkillsExcellent communication (written and verbal), high attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive attitude towards learning complex fund regulations.
